Your tears are not in vain/Tus lagrimas no son en vano!

Depression, something that is not really talked about in churches. When it is, it's addressed as something of a sinful nature and the person is expected to just pray it or rebuke it away.   Barely being able to function as the days pass by in a blur, laying at night seems like an everlasting turmoil. Your emotions take a hold of you. You can't even utter words but your soul cries out to God as the enemy spews his venom in your ears. I can tell you from my personal experience it takes more than just prayer and rebuking. Not that there isn't great power in prayer cause I've experienced many answered prayers but because of our nature it's easy to let ourselves be consumed by the emptiness, the pain, and the fear of what people may say that it can keep us from getting medical help. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting medical help, if need be. There are many amazing God fearing Doctors that will agree. God has allowed man to have this knowledge for it is nothing new, it just gets discovered by man in His perfect timing.

I sought out medical help when my strength to fight was depleting. The enemy kept spewing his venom in my ear but he made one mistake, he told me I was better off dead. Something clicked in me at that moment, Jesus the son of the Living God gave His life for me so I can live. I decided that I needed to find a way to shut the enemy up because praying and rebuking were not working for me. I told my doctor that I needed something to help me with my overwhelming emotions. I told her "I don't want to block all emotions, I just needed to be able to function and identify what was causing this. Even though I sought out medical help I didn't stop praying and rebuking, but I began to search the scriptures for God's promises.

God's mighty word pulls me through. I hold on to His promises, read them daily, remind Him daily when I pray. Something began to change in me, His word began being imprinted in my heart. "No weapon formed against me shall prosper. He didn't say it wouldn't hurt, He said it wouldn't prosper." ~ (Pastor John Gray)

The more I seeked, the more I wanted. Had I not gone through this experience I wouldn't be able to share it with you, I wouldn't be who I am today. Things won't change over night, seek medical help if like me prayer and rebuking aren't enough. This walk is about getting to the finish line transformed, not who gets there first. Remember your tears will be wiped by The One who created the heavens and the earth, The One that from your mother's womb formed you, for He is giving you shape. He is giving you a powerful testimony. Continue seeking His face for He has already given you the victory. Be Blessed!!!

¡¡¡Sea bendecido@!!!
