My Scripture for 2025/Mi Escritura para el 2025!!!

Near the end of 2024, there was a word given in a sermon at my church. It has resonated deep within my soul. One simple word that carries so much and that word is UNITY. 2025 a year that has already begun in tragedy and pain. We know that it will continue to get worse every year. The Lord is calling us to be united for such a time as this.

The Power of Unity: Brethren Dwelling Together in Harmony

In our fast-paced, often fragmented world, the idea of living together in harmony can seem elusive. Yet, the Bible offers profound wisdom about the power and beauty of unity, especially when it comes to believers—“brethren”—coming together in one spirit. In Psalm 133:1, we are reminded of the sweet nature of unity when it says, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” This simple yet powerful verse captures God’s heart for His people, emphasizing that unity among believers is not just a nice idea—it’s a divine calling.

Why Is Unity So Important?

The Bible consistently calls us to live in unity, not just for the sake of peace, but because it mirrors the heart of God Himself. From the very beginning, God demonstrated the importance of fellowship when He said, “It is not good that man should be alone” (Genesis 2:18). Even in the perfection of the Garden of Eden, God knew that His creation was meant to live in relationship with one another.

Fast forward to the New Testament, where Jesus repeatedly calls His followers to unity. In John 17:20-21, Jesus prays for believers saying, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us.” Here, Jesus is praying for unity that reflects the relationship between Himself and the Father—a perfect, unbreakable bond of love.

Unity Reflects God’s Nature

Why does God value unity so much? Because it reflects His nature. The Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is the ultimate example of perfect unity. In the Godhead, we see three distinct persons in one essence, working together in complete harmony. This unity is not only foundational to the relationship within the Godhead but is also a model for the Church.

When believers live in unity, we mirror this divine reality. It’s a visible representation of the harmony and oneness that is found in God. In 1 Corinthians 1:10, Paul urges the church to “speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” Unity in the body of Christ is a powerful testimony to the world of the love, grace, and power of God.

Unity Brings Strength

There is strength in unity. The Bible speaks of this power in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, where it says, “Two are better than one... For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” Unity among believers means we are not facing life’s challenges alone. We have one another to encourage, support, and lift each other up. When we come together in unity, our collective strength becomes greater than the sum of our individual parts.

Paul also emphasizes this in Ephesians 4:3, where he writes, “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” The unity we share is not just for fellowship’s sake but is also a reflection of the strength we have in the Holy Spirit. We are stronger when we stand together in Him, united in purpose, vision, and mission.

Unity Promotes Peace and Growth

Unity doesn’t mean uniformity. In fact, the body of Christ is made up of diverse people, each with unique gifts, backgrounds, and perspectives. But when we choose to put aside our differences for the sake of peace, we create an environment where spiritual growth can flourish. In Colossians 3:14, Paul urges us to “put on love, which is the bond of perfection,” reminding us that love is the foundation of unity.

When believers dwell together in unity, peace follows. And peace, as we know, is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of God’s peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). This peace enables us to focus on what matters most: loving God and loving one another.

Practical Ways to Foster Unity

So, how can we, as believers, cultivate this kind of unity in our lives? Here are a few practical steps:

1. Prioritize Relationships: Make time to build and nurture relationships within the body of Christ. Spend time in fellowship, both in and out of church settings. The more we invest in each other, the stronger our unity becomes.

2. Embrace Differences: Recognize that unity doesn’t mean everyone has to think or act the same. Celebrate diversity in the Church and understand that our differences can strengthen us when we come together in love.

3. Practice Forgiveness: Unity requires humility and a willingness to forgive. In Ephesians 4:32, we are reminded to “be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”Forgiveness restores peace and helps maintain unity, even in challenging circumstances.

4. Stay Focused on the Mission: When we remember our common goal—to spread the love of Christ and share the gospel—the little disagreements or differences fade into the background. Keep your eyes fixed on the greater mission of the kingdom of God.

The Blessing of Unity

Psalm 133:3 says, “For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore.” When we dwell together in unity, God’s blessing flows abundantly. Unity is not just a nice idea or a suggestion; it’s something that God commands, and in that command is life—the fullness of life, the richness of His presence, and the power of His Spirit at work in our community.

In conclusion, unity is not just about getting along—it’s about reflecting the heart of God, growing stronger together, and fulfilling our mission as the body of Christ. Let’s commit to dwelling together in unity, for when we do, we experience the blessings of God’s presence and the power of His Spirit in ways we can’t even imagine.

May we in 2025, as the body of Christ, be united in love, purpose, and mission, shining as a testimony to the world of the transforming power of our Savior.

Hacia finales del 2024, se predico una palabra en mi iglesia. Ha resonado profundamente dentro de mi espíritu. Una simple palabra que conlleva mucho y esa palabra es Harmonía. 2025 un año que ya ha comenzado en tragedia y dolor. Sabemos que seguirá empeorando cada año. El Señor nos está llamando a estar en armonía para esta hora.

El poder de la unidad: hermanos que habitan juntos en armonía

En nuestro mundo acelerado y a menudo fragmentado, la idea de habitar juntos en armonía puede parecer difícil de alcanzar. Sin embargo, la Biblia ofrece una profunda sabiduría sobre el poder y la belleza de la armonía, especialmente cuando se trata de creyentes (“hermanos”) que se unen en un solo espíritu. En el Salmo 133:1, se nos recuerda la dulce naturaleza de la armonía cuando dice: “¡Mirad cuán bueno y cuán delicioso es habitar los hermanos juntos en armonía!” Este versículo simple pero poderoso captura el corazón de Dios por su pueblo, enfatizando que la armonía entre los creyentes no es sólo una buena idea, es un llamado divino.

¿Por qué es tan importante la armonía?

La Biblia nos llama constantemente a vivir en armonía, no sólo por el bien de la paz, sino porque refleja el corazón de Dios mismo. Desde el principio, Dios demostró la importancia de la comunión cuando dijo: “No es bueno que el hombre esté solo” (Génesis 2:18). Incluso en la perfección del Jardín del Edén, Dios sabía que Su creación estaba destinada a vivir en relación unos con otros.

Avancemos rápidamente hasta el Nuevo Testamento, donde Jesús llama repetidamente a sus seguidores a la armonía. En Juan 17:20-21, Jesús ora por los creyentes diciendo: “Mas no ruego solamente por estos, sino también por los que han de creer en mí por la palabra de ellos, para que todos sean uno; como tú, oh Padre, en mí, y yo en ti, que también ellos sean uno en nosotros”. Aquí, Jesús ora por una armonía que refleje la relación entre Él y el Padre: un vínculo de amor perfecto e inquebrantable.

La armonía refleja la naturaleza de Dios

¿Por qué Dios valora tanto la armonía? Porque refleja Su naturaleza. La Trinidad (el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo) es el máximo ejemplo de armonía perfecta. En la Divinidad vemos tres personas distintas en una esencia, trabajando juntas en completa armonía. Esta armonía no sólo es fundamental para la relación dentro de la Divinidad, sino que también es un modelo para la Iglesia.

Cuando los creyentes vivimos en armonía, reflejamos esta realidad divina. Es una representación visible de la armonía y la unidad que se encuentra en Dios. En 1 Corintios 1:10, Pablo insta a la iglesia a “hablar una misma cosa y que no haya divisiones entre vosotros, sino que estéis perfectamente unidos en un mismo sentir y en una misma mente”. La armonía en el cuerpo de Cristo es un testimonio poderoso para el mundo del amor, la gracia y el poder de Dios.

La armonía trae fuerza

En la unión hay fuerza. La Biblia habla de este poder en Eclesiastés 4:9-12, donde dice: “Mejor son dos que uno... Porque si cayeren, el uno levantará a su compañero; pero ¡ay del solo! que cuando cayere, no habrá segundo que lo levante! La armonía entre los creyentes significa que no enfrentamos solos los desafíos de la vida. Nos tenemos unos a otros para animarnos, apoyarnos y levantarnos unos a otros. Cuando nos unimos, nuestra fuerza colectiva se vuelve mayor que la suma de nuestras partes individuales.

Pablo también enfatiza esto en Efesios 4:3, donde escribe: “Solícitos en guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz”. La unidad que compartimos no es solo por el compañerismo, sino también un reflejo de la fuerza que tenemos en el Espíritu Santo. Somos más fuertes cuando estamos unidos en Él, unidos en propósito, visión y misión.

La armonía promueve la paz y el crecimiento

Armonía no significa uniformidad. De hecho, el cuerpo de Cristo está formado por personas diversas, cada una con dones, antecedentes y perspectivas únicas. Pero cuando elegimos dejar a un lado nuestras diferencias por el bien de la paz, creamos un ambiente donde el crecimiento espiritual puede florecer. En Colosenses 3:14, Pablo nos insta a “vestíos de amor, que es el vínculo de perfección”, recordándonos que el amor es el fundamento de la armonía.

Cuando los creyentes habitan juntos en unidad, surge la paz. Y la paz, como sabemos, no es sólo la ausencia de conflicto sino la presencia de la paz de Dios que sobrepasa el entendimiento (Filipenses 4:7). Esta paz nos permite centrarnos en lo más importante: amar a Dios y amarnos unos a otros.

Formas prácticas de fomentar la armonía

Entonces, ¿cómo podemos nosotros, como creyentes, cultivar este tipo de armonía en nuestras vidas? Aquí hay algunos pasos prácticos:

1. Priorice las relaciones: dedique tiempo a construir y nutrir relaciones dentro del cuerpo de Cristo. Pase tiempo en compañerismo, tanto dentro como fuera de la iglesia. Cuanto más invertimos unos en otros, más fuerte se vuelve nuestra armonía.

2. Aceptar las diferencias: reconocer que la armonía no significa que todos tengan que pensar o actuar igual. Celebre la diversidad en la iglesia y comprenda que nuestras diferencias pueden fortalecernos cuando nos unimos en amor.

3. Practicar el perdón: La armonía requiere humildad y voluntad de perdonar. En Efesios 4:32, se nos recuerda que “Antes sed benignos unos con otros, misericordiosos, perdonándoos unos a otros, como Dios también os perdonó a vosotros en Cristo”. El perdón restaura la paz y ayuda a mantener la armonía, incluso en circunstancias difíciles.

4. Mantener el enfoque en la misión: cuando recordamos nuestro objetivo común: difundir el amor de Cristo y compartir el evangelio, los pequeños desacuerdos o diferencias pasan a un segundo plano. Mantén tus ojos fijos en la misión mayor del reino de Dios.

La bendición de la armonía

Salmo 133:3 dice: “Porque allí envía Jehová bendición y vida eterna”. Cuando habitamos juntos en armonía, la bendición de Dios fluye abundantemente. La armonía no es sólo una buena idea o una sugerencia; es algo que Dios ordena, y en esa orden está la vida: la plenitud de vida, la riqueza de Su presencia y el poder de Su Espíritu obrando en nuestra comunidad.

En conclusión, la armonía no se trata sólo de llevarnos bien, sino de reflejar el corazón de Dios, fortalecernos juntos y cumplir nuestra misión como cuerpo de Cristo. Comprometámonos a vivir juntos en armonía, porque cuando lo hagamos, experimentaremos las bendiciones de la presencia de Dios y el poder de Su Espíritu en formas que ni siquiera podemos imaginar.

Que en el 2025, como cuerpo de Cristo, estemos unidos en amor, propósito y misión, brillando como testimonio al mundo del poder transformador de nuestro Salvador.

My Scripture for 2024/Mi Escritura para el 2024!!!

We all have dreams, goals, and aspirations planted in our hearts. Whether it’s a career ambition, a family goal, or a ministry calling, these desires often feel so big that they’re hard to grasp. That’s where the biblical principle of writing the vision and making it plain comes in. This simple but powerful practice can help us move from dreaming to doing.

The Biblical Foundation  

The call to “write the vision” comes from Habakkuk 2:2-3:  
"Then the Lord answered me and said: 'Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."  

This scripture teaches us several important truths about vision:  

1. Write It Down: The act of writing makes your vision tangible. It shifts your dreams from something abstract to something real, something you can see and touch.  

2. Make It Clear: A plain, clear vision is easier to follow. It helps you and others understand the path forward.  

3. Trust God’s Timing: Even if the vision takes time, it will come to pass in God’s perfect timing.  

Why Writing the Vision Matters  

Writing the vision isn’t just a task—it’s a declaration of faith. By writing it down, you’re saying, “I believe in this. I trust that God will bring it to life.” Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” Writing the vision is an act of commitment that helps you stay focused and motivated.  

How to Write the Vision  

1. Seek God’s Guidance:  

   Before you put pen to paper, spend time in prayer. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Ask God to reveal His plans for your life and align your vision with His will.  

2. Be Specific:  

   When you write your vision, make it as clear and detailed as possible. Instead of saying, “I want to start a business,” write down what kind of business, who it will serve, and what steps you’ll take to get started. Clarity helps you move forward with confidence.  

3. Break It Down:  

   Big visions can feel overwhelming, but breaking them into smaller, actionable steps makes them more manageable. For example, if your vision is to write a book, your steps might include brainstorming ideas, creating an outline, and setting a writing schedule.  

4. Keep It Visible:  

   Habakkuk says to make the vision plain so that anyone who reads it can run with it. Place your written vision where you’ll see it regularly—on your desk, your fridge, or even as your phone’s wallpaper. This constant reminder keeps your goals front and center.  

Patience and Perseverance  

After writing the vision, the waiting begins. This can be the hardest part, but God’s timing is always perfect. Isaiah 40:31 encourages us:  
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."  
Trust that God is working behind the scenes, preparing the way for your vision to come to life. In the meantime, stay faithful and keep moving forward one step at a time.  

Vision and Community  

Writing your vision isn’t just for your benefit—it can inspire others too. When your vision is clear, it allows others to come alongside you and support your journey. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.” Share your vision with trusted friends, mentors, or family members who can encourage and guide you.  

Writing the vision and making it plain is a powerful act of faith and preparation. It’s about taking the dreams God has placed in your heart and turning them into a clear, actionable plan. As you write your vision, remember to seek God’s guidance, trust His timing, and stay committed to the process.  

Habakkuk’s words are as true today as they were then: “Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.” So grab a notebook, write your vision, and get ready to see God move in incredible ways!

Todos tenemos sueños, metas y aspiraciones plantadas en nuestro corazón. Ya sea una ambición profesional, una meta familiar o un llamamiento ministerial, estos deseos a menudo parecen tan grandes que son difíciles de comprender. Ahí es donde entra en juego el principio bíblico de escribir la visión y dejarla clara. Esta práctica simple pero poderosa puede ayudarnos a pasar del sueño al hecho.

El Fundamento Bíblico

El llamado a “escribir la visión” proviene de Habacuc 2:2-3:  

"Entonces el Señor me respondió y dijo: 'Escribe la visión y declárala en tablas, para que corra el que la lea. Porque la visión aún tardará un tiempo determinado; pero al fin hablará, y no hablará. mentira. Aunque tarde, espéralo; porque ciertamente vendrá, no tardará”.

Esta escritura nos enseña varias verdades importantes sobre la visión:

1. Escríbelo: El acto de escribir hace que tu visión sea tangible. Cambia tus sueños de algo abstracto a algo real, algo que puedes ver y tocar.

2. Dejalo Claro: Una visión sencilla y clara es más fácil de seguir. Le ayuda a usted y a otros a comprender el camino a seguir.  

3. Confía en el tiempo de Dios: Incluso si la visión lleva tiempo, se cumplirá en el tiempo perfecto de Dios.  

Por qué es importante escribir la visión

Escribir la visión no es sólo una tarea: es una declaración de fe. Al escribirlo, estás diciendo: “Creo en esto. Confío en que Dios le dará vida”. Proverbios 16:3 nos recuerda: “Encomienda al Señor tus obras, y tus pensamientos serán establecidos”. Escribir la visión es un acto de compromiso que le ayuda a mantenerse centrado y motivado.

Cómo escribir la visión

1. Busque la guía de Dios:  

Antes de poner la pluma sobre el papel, dedica tiempo a la oración. Proverbios 3:5-6 nos anima a “Confía en el Señor con todo tu corazón, y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia; Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus veredas”. Pídele a Dios que te revele Sus planes para tu vida y alinee tu visión con Su voluntad.

2. Ser Específico:  

Cuando escriba su visión, hágala lo más clara y detallada posible. En lugar de decir: "Quiero iniciar un negocio", escriba qué tipo de negocio, a quién servirá y qué pasos dará para comenzar. La claridad le ayuda a avanzar con confianza.

3. Dívidelo:  

Las grandes visiones pueden resultar abrumadoras, pero dividirlas en pasos más pequeños y viables las hace más manejables. Por ejemplo, si su visión es escribir un libro, sus pasos podrían incluir una lluvia de ideas, la creación de un esquema y el establecimiento de un cronograma de escritura.

4. Mantenlo Visible:  

Habacuc dice que se aclare la visión para que cualquiera que la lea pueda seguirla. Coloque su visión escrita donde la vea regularmente: en su escritorio, su refrigerador o incluso como fondo de pantalla de su teléfono. Este recordatorio constante mantiene tus objetivos al frente y al centro.

Paciencia y Perseverancia

Después de escribir la visión, comienza la espera. Esta puede ser la parte más difícil, pero el tiempo de Dios siempre es perfecto. Isaías 40:31 nos anima:  

"Pero los que esperan en el Señor renovarán sus fuerzas; levantarán alas como las águilas, correrán y no se cansarán, caminarán y no se fatigarán".  

Confía en que Dios está trabajando detrás de escena, preparando el camino para que tu visión se haga realidad. Mientras tanto, mantente fiel y sigue avanzando paso a paso.

Visión y Comunidad

Escribir la visión no es sólo para su beneficio: también puede inspirar a otros. Cuando su visión es clara, permite que otros lo acompañen y apoyen su viaje. Eclesiastés 4:9-10 nos recuerda: “Más valen dos que uno, porque tendrán buena recompensa por su trabajo. Porque si caen, uno levantará a su compañero”. Comparta su visión con amigos, mentores o familiares de confianza que puedan alentarlo y guiarlo.

Escribir la visión y dejarla clara es un poderoso acto de fe y preparación. Se trata de tomar los sueños que Dios ha puesto en tu corazón y convertirlos en un plan claro y viable. Mientras escribe su visión, recuerde buscar la guía de Dios, confiar en sus tiempos y mantenerse comprometido con el proceso.

Las palabras de Habacuc son tan ciertas hoy como lo eran entonces: “Aunque tarde, espéralo; porque seguramente vendrá”. ¡Así que toma un cuaderno, escribe tu visión y prepárate para ver a Dios moverse de maneras increíbles!

2023 Church Hurt: Now What? / 2023: Herida por la Iglesia: ¿Ahora Qué?

This year has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life—more difficult than my divorce and even my cancer journey combined. I’ve experienced church hurt before, but this time, it was on a whole new level. The pain and anger I felt were overwhelming, and it led me to step down from my leadership position. There were many moments when I seriously considered leaving the church altogether.  

What made it harder was that I saw it coming in the spirit before it actually happened, but I couldn’t believe people I had known and trusted for years would hurt me like that. I won’t get into the specifics because that’s not the point of this post. This is about how God walked me through the pain and helped me find healing.  

The Battle Within:  

For months, I was in a spiritual battle so intense that I couldn’t hear God’s voice, not even to receive my scripture of the year. I cried myself to sleep night after night, begging God to intervene.  

Then, one day, I attended a special service at another church. During the ministration part of the service, the preacher, who didn’t know anything about my situation, gave me a word from the Lord. He said, “Don’t cry anymore. Wipe your tears. I’m going to take care of it, says the Lord.”  

That moment was a turning point. It reminded me to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10). It wasn’t that God wasn’t speaking to me—it was that my hurt and anger were hindering me from hearing Him.  

The Hardest Step:  

A few weeks later, the Lord asked me to do something that felt impossible at the time: He asked me to apologize to the one person who had hurt me the most.  

I was stunned. In my mind, I thought, “What do You mean, Lord? They should be apologizing to me!” But I knew better than to argue with God (though I still tried, to be honest). In the end, I chose to humble myself and obey, even though I didn’t expect an apology in return.  

After apologizing, I went home and poured my heart out to God. I asked Him, “Why did You ask me to do that?” His response was gentle but clear: “That was for you, not them. I can’t do what you’re crying out for Me to do when you’re a stumbling block.”  

That moment of clarity hit me hard. I realized that my hurt and anger were not just affecting me—they were blocking God from working in my situation. So, I asked Him to remove the pain and help me see the person who hurt me the way He sees them.  

The Healing Process:  

Since that prayer, I’ve felt a shift in my heart. Things aren’t perfect, but they are so much better. When the enemy tries to remind me of the past, I make a conscious choice to say, “See them like the Lord does.”  

God has been so faithful in answering my prayers. He’s given me peace, softened my heart, and helped me release the anger and bitterness I was holding onto.

Este año ha sido una de las temporadas más desafiantes de mi vida, más difícil que mi divorcio e incluso mi trayectoria contra el cáncer combinados. He experimentado heridas en la iglesia antes, pero esta vez fue en un nivel completamente nuevo. El dolor y la ira que sentí fueron abrumadores y me llevaron a renunciar a mi posición de liderazgo. Hubieron muchos momentos en los que consideré seriamente dejar la iglesia por completo. 

Lo que lo hizo más difícil fue que lo vi venir en el espíritu antes de que realmente sucediera, pero no podía creer que las personas que había conocido y en las que había confiado durante años me lastimarían de esa manera. No entraré en detalles porque ese no es el objetivo de esta publicación. Se trata de cómo Dios me sostuvo a través del dolor y me ayudó a encontrar sanidad. 

La Batalla Interna:

Durante meses estuve en una batalla espiritual tan intensa que no podía escuchar la voz de Dios, ni siquiera para recibir mi escritura del año. Lloré hasta quedarme dormida noche tras noche, rogando a Dios que interviniera. 

Entonces, un día, asistí a un servicio especial en otra iglesia. Durante la parte de la ministración del servicio, el predicador, que no sabía nada de mi situación, me dio una palabra de parte del Señor. Él dijo: “No llores más. Seca tus lágrimas. Yo me encargare, dice el Señor”. 

Ese fue un momento crucial para mí. Me recordó estad quieto y saber que Él es Dios (Salmo 46:10). No era que Dios no me estuviera hablando; era que mi dolor y mi ira me impedían escucharlo.

El Paso más Difícil:

Unas semanas después, el Señor me pidió que hiciera algo que en ese momento parecía imposible: me pidió que me disculpara con la persona que más me había lastimado.

Me quedé atónita. En mi mente pensé: “¿Qué quieres decir, Señor? ¡Debería disculparse conmigo! Pero sabía que no debía discutir con Dios (aunque, para ser honesta, todavía lo intenté). Al fin, decidí humillarme y obedecer, aunque no esperaba una disculpa a cambio.

Después de disculparme, fui a casa y abrí mi corazón ante Dios. Le pregunté: "¿Por qué me pediste que hiciera eso?" Su respuesta fue amable pero clara: “Eso fue para ti, no para ellos. No puedo hacer lo que me pides a gritos que haga cuando eres piedra de tropiezo”.

Ese momento de claridad me golpeó fuerte. Me di cuenta de que mi dolor y mi ira no sólo me estaban afectando a mí, sino que estaban impidiendo que Dios obrara en mi situación. Entonces, le pedí que removiera el dolor y me ayudara a ver a la personas que me lastimaron como Él las ve.

El Proceso de Sanidad:

Desde esa oración, sentí un cambio en mi corazón. Las cosas no son perfectas, pero están mucho mejor. Cuando el enemigo intenta recordarme el pasado, tomo la decisión consciente de decir: “Míralos como lo hace el Señor”. 

Dios ha sido fiel al responder mis oraciones. Él me ha dado paz, ha ablandado mi corazón y me ha ayudado a remover la ira y la amargura a las que me aferraba.

Tu Turno:

Si ha experimentado heridas en la iglesia, quiero que sepas que la sanidad es posible. No es fácil y puede requerir pasos que resulten incómodos o incluso injustos. Pero cuando entregas tu dolor a Dios, Él puede hacer cosas increíbles en tu corazón y en tu situación. 

¿Has sufrido heridas por causa de la iglesia? ¿Cómo lo superaste? Me encantaría escuchar tu testimonio. ¡Animémonos unos a otros mientras caminamos juntos por este camino de la fe!

My Scripture for 2022/Mi Escritura para el 2022!!!

This year in the middle of my breast cancer journey, the Lord again gave me a dream. In searching the scriptures, Philippians 4:7 resonated with me. I have chosen it as my scripture of the year.

This year, in the middle of my breast cancer journey, the Lord gave me a dream that brought both comfort and clarity. It was a reminder of His constant presence and care, even in the midst of uncertainty. As I sought Him for understanding, Philippians 4:7 stood out to me:  

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."  

This verse resonated deeply with my spirit, becoming a lifeline of hope and reassurance. It’s not just a verse I’ve read—it’s one I’ve lived. It’s the scripture I’ve chosen to hold onto for this year, my Scripture of the Year.  

My Dream:

It was nighttime, and I found myself standing outside a hospital, surrounded by a crowd of people. The atmosphere was heavy with concern as someone announced that the hospital was having layoffs. Naturally, everyone, including me, began to worry about the possibility of losing our jobs.  

We all decided to march inside and ask the boss who would be affected. One by one, people approached the boss for answers. When it was my turn, he noticed me and asked, “What are you doing here?”  

“I came to check if I’m being laid off too,” I replied nervously.  

With a reassuring smile, he said, “No, not you!” Relief washed over me, wrapping me like a warm, fuzzy blanket.  

Feeling lighter, I started making my way toward the hospital exit. But before I could leave, someone stopped me and handed me a packet of medication. As soon as I took it, I felt sick to my stomach. Then they gave me another packet, explaining it was meant for someone else who had chosen to disappear and not pick it up. That's when I woke up. I immediately understood what the Lord was trying to tell me.

 

The Power of Philippians 4:7  

Cancer is a battle that tests your faith, your strength, and your resolve. But in the midst of it all, Philippians 4:7 has been a beacon of light. It speaks of a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, a peace that comes only from God.  

This peace is supernatural—it guards the heart and mind when the world feels overwhelming. It has kept me anchored when fear tried to take over and has reminded me that God’s presence is my refuge.  

Choosing Peace:  

Choosing Philippians 4:7 as my scripture of the year is my way of standing firm in faith. It’s my declaration that I trust God to carry me through every step of this journey. His peace is my shield, protecting me from anxiety, doubt, and fear.  

Encouragement for You:  

If you’re walking through your own storm, I encourage you to cling to God’s promises. Search the Scriptures and ask Him to give you a verse to hold onto. Whether it’s Philippians 4:7 or another passage, His Word will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).  

The peace of God is available to all of us. It’s not something we earn—it’s a gift we receive through Christ. In this season, I’m grateful for that peace, and I pray that it fills your heart and mind as well.

Este año, en medio de mi trayectoria contra el cáncer de mama, el Señor nuevamente me dio un sueño. Al buscar las Escrituras, Filipenses 4:7 resonó en mí. La he elegido como mi escritura del año.

Este año, en medio de mi trayectoria contra el cáncer de mama, el Señor me dio un sueño que me brindó consuelo y claridad. Fue un recordatorio de Su constante presencia y cuidado, incluso en medio de la incertidumbre. Mientras buscaba su entendimiento, Filipenses 4:7 se destacó para mí:

"Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros pensamientos en Cristo Jesús".

Este versículo resonó profundamente en mi espíritu y se convirtió en un salvavidas de esperanza y tranquilidad. No es sólo un verso que he leído, es uno que he vivido. Es la Escritura que he elegido conservar para este año, mi Escritura del Año.

Mi Sueño:

Era de noche y me encontré afuera de un hospital, rodeado por una multitud de personas. El ambiente estaba cargado de preocupación cuando alguien anunció que el hospital estaba teniendo despidos. Naturalmente, todos, incluyéndome a mí, empezamos a preocuparnos por la posibilidad de perder nuestros trabajos.

Todos decidimos entrar y preguntarle al jefe quiénes se verían afectados. Una por una, la gente se acercó al jefe en busca de respuestas. Cuando llegó mi turno, me vio y me preguntó: "¿Qué estás haciendo aquí?".

“Vine a comprobar si a mí también me despiden”, respondí nerviosamente.  

Con una sonrisa tranquilizadora, dijo: "¡No, tú no!". El alivio me invadió, envolviéndome como una manta cálida y peluda.

Sintiéndome más ligera, comencé a caminar hacia la salida del hospital. Pero antes de que pudiera irme, alguien me detuvo y me entregó un paquete de medicamentos. Tan pronto como lo tomé, sentí náuseas. Luego me dieron otro paquete, explicándome que estaba destinado a otra persona que había elegido desaparecer y no recogerlo. Fue entonces cuando me desperté. Inmediatamente comprendí lo que el Señor estaba tratando de decirme.

El poder de Filipenses 4:7

El cáncer es una batalla que pone a prueba tu fe, tu fuerza y ​​tu determinación. Pero en medio de todo esto, Filipenses 4:7 ha sido un faro de luz. Habla de una paz que no depende de las circunstancias, una paz que viene sólo de Dios.  

Esta paz es sobrenatural: protege el corazón y la mente cuando el mundo se siente abrumado. Me ha mantenido anclado cuando el miedo intentó apoderarse de mí y me ha recordado que la presencia de Dios es mi refugio.

Elegir la paz:

Elegir Filipenses 4:7 como mi escritura del año es mi manera de mantenerme firme en la fe. Es mi declaración de que confío en que Dios me guiará en cada paso de este viaje. Su paz es mi escudo y me protege de la ansiedad, la duda y el miedo.

Exhortación para ti:

Si estás atravesando tu propia tormenta, te animo a que te aferres a las promesas de Dios. Busca en las Escrituras y pídele que te dé un versículo al que aferrarte. Ya sea Filipenses 4:7 u otro pasaje, Su Palabra será lámpara a tus pies y lumbrera a tu camino (Salmo 119:105).

La paz de Dios está disponible para todos nosotros. No es algo que ganamos, es un regalo que recibimos a través de Cristo. En esta temporada, estoy agradecida por esa paz y oro para que llene tu corazón y tu mente también.

My Scripture for 2021/Mi Escritura para el 2021!!!

This year that Lord did not give me a scripture. Instead He gave me a prophetic dream...

Prophetic dreams are one of the many ways God communicates with His people, offering guidance, warnings, or revelations about His plans. Throughout Scripture, we see examples of God using dreams to speak to His servants. For instance, in Genesis 37, Joseph received dreams that foretold his future as a leader, though the fulfillment of those dreams took years and involved challenges. 

A prophetic dream is not just a random occurrence; it carries divine significance. Job 33:14-15 says, “For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds.” These moments are sacred, and they call for prayerful reflection and discernment.

My Dream:

I was at a mountain resort with my family. As we were heading back to the hotel, I noticed a large wolf stalking my mom and my youngest daughter. Alarmed, I told them to head inside the hotel lobby while I distracted the wolf. My plan worked—the wolf took the bait and followed me, allowing my family to reach the hotel safely.  

But the wolf was furious. Its prey had escaped, and now it focused all its anger on me. Suddenly, everything went pitch black. The wolf lunged at me, knocking me to the ground. This creature was enormous, towering over me. Its mouth was three times the size of my head, and as it leaned close, it growled menacingly. I could feel its hot, gusting breath on my face, like a 40-mile-per-hour wind. Drool dripped from its mouth, splattering onto me as I lay helpless beneath its massive frame.  

Using one giant paw, it pinned me down, while the other clawed at me twice. I knew it had inflicted serious injuries, yet I felt no pain and saw no blood. My heart pounded in my chest as I thought, "This is where I die."  

Then, something extraordinary happened. A bright light appeared above me, just at the edge of my vision. In my mind’s eye, I saw the lower half of a caramel-colored man face. His lips blew powerfully, and I could see the wind forming as it moved closer to me.  

When the wind enveloped me, everything changed. The wolf tried to claw at me again, but the wind gave me incredible strength—like Popeye after eating spinach. I caught its massive paw in both hands and, with a surge of power, pushed it backward as I shouted, “No!”, and then I woke up.

I understood that the dream was a warning. I was going to battle something great but the Lord would be with me and give me the strength to defeat it.

If you believe God has given you a prophetic dream, here’s what to do:

1. Write It Down: Just as Habakkuk 2:2 instructs us to write the vision and make it plain, recording your dream ensures you won’t forget the details.
2. Pray for Understanding: Ask God for clarity and wisdom. James 1:5 assures us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
3. Seek Counsel: Share your dream with a trusted spiritual mentor or leader who can help you discern its meaning and application.

Remember, prophetic dreams are meant to align with God’s Word and His character. They often prepare us for something significant or encourage us to trust His plans. Be open, stay prayerful, and allow God to reveal His purposes through your dreams.

Este año El Señor no me dio una escritura. Me dio un sueño profético...

Los sueños proféticos son una de las muchas formas en que Dios se comunica con su pueblo, ofreciendo orientación, advertencias o revelaciones sobre sus planes. A lo largo de las Escrituras, vemos ejemplos de Dios usando sueños para hablar con Sus siervos. Por ejemplo, en Génesis 37, José recibió sueños que predijeron su futuro como líder, aunque el cumplimiento de esos sueños tomó años e implicó desafíos.

Un sueño profético no es sólo un acontecimiento aleatorio; lleva un significado divino. Job 33:14-15 dice: “Porque Dios puede hablar de una manera o de otra, y el hombre no lo entiende. En sueño, en visión nocturna, cuando el sueño profundo cae sobre los hombres, mientras duermen en sus camas”. Estos momentos son sagrados y exigen reflexión y discernimiento en oración.

Mi Sueño:

Estaba en un resort de montaña con mi familia. Mientras regresábamos al hotel, noté un lobo grande acechando a mi mamá y a mi hija menor. Alarmada, les dije que entraran al vestíbulo del hotel mientras distraía al lobo. Mi plan funcionó: el lobo mordió el anzuelo y me siguió, permitiendo que mi familia llegara sana y salva al hotel.

Pero el lobo estaba furioso. Su presa había escapado y ahora centró toda su ira en mí. De repente, todo se volvió negro como boca de lobo. El lobo se abalanzó sobre mí y me tiró al suelo. Esta criatura era enorme y se elevaba sobre mí. Su boca era tres veces más grande que mi cabeza y, cuando se acercaba, gruñía amenazadoramente. Podía sentir su aliento cálido y ráfago en mi cara, como un viento de 40 millas por hora. La baba goteaba de su boca, salpicándome mientras yacía indefensa debajo de su enorme estructura.

Usando una pata gigante, me inmovilizó, mientras que la otra me arañó dos veces. Sabía que me había causado heridas graves, pero no sentí dolor ni vi sangre. Mi corazón latía con fuerza en mi pecho mientras pensaba: "Aquí es donde muero".

Entonces sucedió algo extraordinario. Una luz brillante apareció sobre mí, justo en el borde de mi visión. En mi mente, vi la mitad inferior de la cara de un hombre color caramelo. Sus labios soplaron poderosamente y pude ver cómo se formaba el viento a medida que se acercaba a mí.

Cuando el viento me envolvió, todo cambió. El lobo intentó arañarme otra vez, pero el viento me dio una fuerza increíble, como Popeye después de comer espinacas. Atrapé su enorme pata con ambas manos y, con una oleada de poder, lo empujé hacia atrás mientras gritaba: "¡No!", y luego me desperté.

Entendí que el sueño era una advertencia. Iba a luchar contra algo grande pero el Señor estaría conmigo y me daría la fuerza para vencerlo.

Si cree que Dios le ha dado un sueño profético, esto es lo que debe hacer:

1. Escríbelo: Así como Habacuc 2:2 nos instruye a escribir la visión y dejarla clara, registrar su sueño garantiza que no olvidará los detalles.
2. Ora por comprensión: Pídele a Dios claridad y sabiduría. Santiago 1:5 nos asegura: “Si alguno de vosotros tiene falta de sabiduría, pídala a Dios, que da a todos generosamente, sin encontrar falta, y se la dará”.
3. Busque consejo: comparta su sueño con un mentor o líder espiritual de confianza que pueda ayudarle a discernir su significado y aplicación.

Recuerda, los sueños proféticos están destinados a alinearse con la Palabra de Dios y Su carácter. A menudo nos preparan para algo importante o nos alientan a confiar en Sus planes. Esté abierto, permanezca en oración y permita que Dios le revele Sus propósitos a través de tus sueños.

My Scripture for 2020/Mi Escritura para el 2020!!!

As you all know, God gives me a scripture every year...

For the past six years the Lord has given me a scriptural theme in which most testimonies, most experiences, most of the words that comes out of my mouth are wrapped around that scriptural theme. 


This year the Lord has given me Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. It's a very strong and concerning word for this year, especially when all you hear is how great 2020 will be. It's the reason why I waited till almost the end of February to post this. I wanted to be absolutely sure that this was the word God was giving me. Yes, I cried when I received this word because I have seen the terrible things that will befall this world but the Holy Spirit reminded me that "Great is our reward in heaven" and how Jesus prayed "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth". When will these things happen? I have no idea. One thing I do know is that I need/we all need to be ready like the Wise Virgins. Keep our light burning and gather extra oil. I pray that God continues to guide us, reveal to us and that we may hear and understand the word of the Lord when He speaks to us.

Como todos saben, Dios me da una escritura todos los años...

Durante los ultimos seis años el Señor me a dado un tema biblico, en el qué casi cada testimonio, cada experiencia, cada palabra qué sale de mí boca esta envuelto en ese tema bíblico qué él me da. 

Este año el Señor me ha dado Lucas 21:36 Velad, pues, en todo tiempo orando que seáis tenidos por dignos de escapar de todas estas cosas que vendrán, y de estar en pie delante del Hijo del Hombre. Es una palabra muy fuerte y preocupante para este año, especialmente cuando todo lo que escuchas es lo genial que será el 2020. Es la razón por la cual esperé hasta casi el final de febrero para publicar esto. Quería estar absolutamente segura de que esta era la palabra que Dios me estaba dando. Sí, lloré cuando recibí esta palabra, pero el Espíritu Santo me recordaba que "Vuestro galardón es grande en los cielos" y como Jesús oró "Yo les he dado tu palabra; y el mundo los aborreció, porque no son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo. No ruego que los quites del mundo, sino que los guardes del mal. No son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo. Santifícalos en tu verdad; tu palabra es verdad. Como tú me enviaste al mundo, así yo los he enviado al mundo. Y por ellos yo me santifico a mí mismo, para que también ellos sean santificados en la verdad". ¿Cuándo sucederán estas cosas? No tengo idea. Una cosa que sí sé es que necesito / necesitamos estar listos como las vírgenes sabias. Mantengamos nuestra luz encendida y guardemos aceite. Oro para que Dios continúe guiándonos, revelándonos y que podamos escuchar y comprender la palabra del Señor cuando El nos habla.

For the past five years the Lord has given me a scriptural theme in which most testimonies, most experiences, most of the words that comes out of my mouth are wrapped around it.

This year the Lord has given me Matthew 25:23 Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. This year God is telling me it's time of RECOMPENSE!!! God is so awesome that He confirmed it with my pastor's message this past Sunday. So if like myself you have stayed faithful and gotten through it, your time of RECOMPENSE has come!!!

Sé que estado perdida de mi blog por un tiempo y en mi próxima publicación explicaré por qué. Como todos saben, Dios me da una escritura todos los años...

Durante los ultimos cinco años el Señor me a dado un tema biblico, en el qué casi cada testimonio, cada experiencia, cada palabra qué sale de mí boca esta envuelto en ese tema.

Este año el Señor me ha dado Mateo 25:23 Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu señor. Este año Dios me está diciendo que es tiempo de RECOMPENSA!!! Dios es tan maravilloso que lo confirmó con el mensaje de mi pastor el domingo pasado. Así que, si como yo, te has mantenido fiel y lo has superado, ¡ha llegado tu momento de RECOMPENSA!

My Scripture for 2018/Mi Escritura para el 2018!!!

As you all know, God gives me a scripture every year...

For the past four years the Lord has given me a scriptural theme in which every testimony, every experience, every word that comes out of my mouth is wrapped around that scriptural theme he gives me.

This year the Lord has given me Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Which is no surprise that this was the verse of my last blog post for 2017.

I feel a time of separation is coming, where hidden truths will be revealed and the perfect will of God understood. It's a time of change! I pray that we are bowed, seeking His face and doing His work. If you know you are not doing what God has asked of you or you have been pushing aside the decision to accept Christ in your life. The time is now, tomorrow may be too late.

Como todos saben, Dios me da una escritura todos los años...

Durante los ultimos cuatro años el Señor me a dado un tema biblico, en el qué cada testimonio, cada experiencia, cada palabra qué sale de mí boca esta envuelto en ese tema bíblico qué él me da.

Este año El Señor me a dado Romanos 12:2 No os conforméis a este siglo, sino transformaos por medio de la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que comprobéis cuál sea la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta. Cuál no es sorpresa de qué este fuera el versículo de mí última entrada de blog para el 2017.

Siento qué viene un tiempo de separación, dónde las verdades ocultas serán reveladas y la voluntad perfecta de Dios entendida. Es un tiempo de cambio. Oro para qué estemos inclinados, buscando Su rostro y haciendo Su trabajo. Si tu sabes qué no éstas haciendo lo qué Dios te a pedido hacer o has estado empujando a un lado la decisión de aceptar a Cristo en tú vida. El momento es ahora, mañana puede ser demasiado tarde.

My scripture for 2017/Mi escritura para el 2017!!!

The Lord has given me a theme in which every testimony, every experience, every word that comes out of my mouth is wrapped around the theme he gives me.

This year the Lord has given me Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. I don't know what other gift He may give me but I do know with certainty that there is one more.

Just as the time has come for the purpose of God to be manifested in my life, the time to seek the Lord is now. Tomorrow may unfortunately be too late for some.

El Señor me ha dado un tema en cual cada testimonio, cada experiencia, cada palabra que sale de mi boca esta en vuelta en el tema que El me da.

Este año El Señor me ha dado Isaias 55:6 Buscad a Jehova mientras pueda ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que esta cercano. No se que otro don El me pueda dar pero si se con certeza que hay uno mas. 

Asi como el tiempo ha llegado para que el proposito de Dios sea manifestado en mi vida, el tiempo de buscar a Jehova es ahora. Mañana podra desafortunadamente ser muy tarde para algunos.

First blog post / Primera publicación en el blog

This is my very first blog post. I have no clue what I am doing but I'm being obedient to God. I heard Him in my ear clear as day say "Create a blog.",  and so here we are. I don't know the purpose yet or what he has in store with this but I will trust Him. In the past few weeks I've had to learn this process of blogging. I know that I will make mistakes and things may not look great at first but I will get there. The Lord has given me a theme in which every testimony, every experience, every word that comes out of my mouth is wrapped around the theme he gives me. In 2015 it was James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Close to the end of that year I received the gift of speaking in tongues. This year it is James 4:7-8 Therefore submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.The Lord didn't just want me to draw near to Him, He also wanted me to seek a new experience with Him every time.  Some time near the middle of this year the Lord intensified my dreams, visions and tongues.

Esta es mi primera publicación en el blog. No tengo idea de lo que estoy haciendo pero estoy siendo obediente a Dios. Lo escuché en mi oído claro como el día decir "Crea un blog", y aquí estamos. Todavía no sé el propósito ni lo que tiene reservado con esto, pero confiaré en Él. En las últimas semanas tuve que aprender este proceso de creación de un blog. Sé que cometeré errores y que las cosas tal vez no se vean bien al principio, pero lo lograré. En los ultimo tres años el Señor me ha dado un tema en cual cada testimonio, cada experiencia, cada palabra que sale de mi boca esta en vuelta en el tema que El me da. En el 2015 fue Santiago 4:8 Acercaos a Dios, y el se acercara a vosotros. Cerca de al final de ese año yo recibí el don de hablar en lenguas.

Este año es Santiago 4:7-8 Someteos, pues, a Dios; resistid al diablo, y huira de vosotros. Acercaos a Dios, y el se acercara a vosotros. El Señor no solo queria que yo me acercara a El. Tambien queria que yo buscara una nueva experiencia con El cada vez. En un tiempo cerca de la mitad del año El Señor intensificó mis sueños, visiones y lenguas.
